Kulturrådets projekt Skapande skola är en långsiktig statlig satsning till för elever från årskurs 1–9 i grundskolan. Syftet är att integrera det professionella kulturlivet i undervisningen och göra kulturen till en del i skolans lärande och elevernas växtkraft.

På Sankt Eriks Katolska skola har vi arbetat med Skapande skola från klass 1 till klass 9 under läsåret 2011/2012. Vi har arbetat stadievis men med ett gemensamt projekt där alla elevers arbete mynnat ut i de pjäser ni ska få se idag.

Klass 7-9 började projektet med introduktionslektioner i bild, musik och drama kring temat sagor. Sedan skrev de sagor, fick två besök av författaren Magnus Ljunggren och hade en tävling där de sex bästa sagorna (att fungera som pjäs) valdes ut. Eleverna fick sedan i uppdrag att prata med de yngre eleverna kring sagotemat och de gjorde collage med de yngre elevernas bilder. De vinnande sagorna blev sedan omarbetade till de manus som pjäserna bygger på. Några av högstadiets elever har även hjälpt till i regisserandet av pjäserna.

Klass 4-6 fick de färdiga manusen för att utifrån dem skapa kulisser, rekvisita och i vissa grupper även sånger till pjäserna. Eleverna fick även besöka Marionetteatern och Operan för att få inspiration till sina kreativa arbeten.

Klass 1-3 har fått vara skådespelare och övat in pjäserna som högstadiets elever har skrivit. De fick under året besök av drama/sångpedagogen Ann-Sofie Andersson från Unga Operan som gjorde röst- och dramaövningar med eleverna. Eleverna fick även göra besök på Operan och lyssna på en trombonkonsert.

I dag får ni se pjäserna med lågstadiets elever som engagerade skådespelare, mellanstadiets fantastiska kulisser och sånger samt högstadiets spännande manus.
